This policy explains what information Lewis Bros Inc (“we”) collects through lewisbrosinc.com and when you contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We’re a family-owned heating, cooling and refrigeration company in Coleman, Michigan, and we only collect what we need to serve you.

Information we collect

  • When you request a quote or service online: your name, phone number, the type of service you need and anything you write in your note. With each request we also record the page you sent it from, the date and time, your IP address and your browser type, which helps us spot spam and fix problems.
  • When you call, email or visit us: whatever you choose to share, such as your address and details about the job.
  • If you ask about a job with us: what you send us, such as your work history and references.
  • When you browse the site: basic technical information that any website receives, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. See “Services that help run our website” below.

How we use your information

  • Respond to your questions and service requests
  • Schedule and perform work, and keep a record of the service we’ve provided
  • Consider people who ask about working with us
  • Protect our website and forms from spam and abuse
  • Meet our legal and safety obligations

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their advertising.

Services that help run our website

Cloudflare hosts our website, stores the requests sent through our forms and delivers them to us by email. It also protects our forms with Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks for signs of automated abuse instead of asking you to solve a puzzle. Cloudflare handles this information under its privacy policy.

Google reviews: our homepage shows reviews from our Google Business Profile, gathered for us by Featurable. Our own server fetches them, so Featurable doesn’t see your visit. Reviewers’ profile photos load directly from Google, which means Google receives your browser’s IP address when they appear.

The company that maintains our website can see the information the site stores in order to keep it running, and uses it only for that purpose. Requests you send through the forms come to us at Lewis Bros Inc

Links to Facebook, Google Maps and other websites are covered by those companies’ own privacy policies once you follow them.

Website statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t track you across other websites and doesn’t give us your identity.

Cookies

Our website doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary cookies or similar browser storage to keep the site and our forms secure. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though a form may take a moment longer to confirm you’re not a bot.

How long we keep information

We keep service requests and job records for as long as we need them to serve you and keep accurate business records, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see “Your choices” below).

How we protect it

Our website only runs over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and form requests are kept in access-restricted systems. No website or storage system is completely secure, but we take reasonable care to protect what you share with us.

Your choices

  • Ask what personal information we have about you
  • Ask us to correct or update it
  • Withdraw any consent you’ve given us
  • Ask us to delete it, unless we have to keep it for legal or business reasons

To make any of these requests, contact us using the details below.

Children

Our website is meant for homeowners and businesses. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
